Entering our 30s is one of the most significant checkpoints for many millennials because we think that we should have done many things or achieved most of our goals by this time. Well, at least that was what’s portrayed in social media.
We often use the race metaphor when describing life. But I think we often use it as an inaccurate comparison. Life is not a marathon.
It sure is impossible to say what will happen in five years because we can’t see far into the future. But I believe that where I am now is where I should be at this moment in my life.
I liked how convenient it is to look back on beautiful memories with friends, families, and myself and cringe on what I wrote on my wall a decade ago as a digital time capsule of my life.
